I, the undersigned, recognize that I am hiring the services of A New Way of Hope Weddings, an independent non-denominational Christian minister authorized to perform the rite of marriage in the State of Ohio and the State of West Virginia.

I/we hereby hire A New Way of Hope Weddings to write and perform our wedding ceremony on the indicated date. I understand our fees include meeting with the minister and having A New Way of Hope Weddings file the signed paperwork at the appropriate county court house. Also all questions have been answered to my satisfaction. I, the customer, agree to pay Half (1/2) of the agreed upon amount of $________ at time of booking, as a non-refundable retainer. I realize that payments on my final balance can be made at any time, however; I also understand that the entire balance must be paid no later than 14 calendar days prior to the wedding date. UNLESS OTHER WISE INSTRUCTED (This will give checks time to clear) Upon signature and receipt of deposit, A New Way of Hope Weddings will reserve the time and date agreed upon, by the signing the completed contract. I understand that A New Way of Hope Weddings will maintain the original copy of this contract and that I will receive a copy for my files.

Payment Terms: Major credit cards, check, cash, or money order will be accepted. Please make checks payable to A New Way of Hope Weddings unless the Minister request otherwise. I understand that if my check is dishonored, A New Way of Hope Weddings is relieved of all obligations set under this contract, unless I can immediately remedy the situation with a cash payment plus a $30 dishonored check fee. I further understand that if my account is not paid in full prior to the wedding date, A New Way of Hope Weddings (UNLESS APPROVED ARRANGMENTS are made in ADVANCE) will not attend or perform my wedding. _____ (Please initial ) .

Refund Policy: I/we acknowledge that the one-half amount that was paid as a retainer is non-refundable. ________ ( ) however, if A New Way of Hope Weddings cancels the wedding, we will receive a 100% refund on all payments made. (The fair principle being that whoever cancels loses the deposit). We also understand that 75% of the work A New Way of Hope Weddings dedicates to our wedding is prior to the actual wedding date, such as the planning, consultations, custom writing of the ceremony script etc. Therefore, we understand that if we cancel our wedding after A New Way of Hope Weddings has completed the initial consultation with us (in person, via phone, or via the submission of completed questionnaires), and if a draft of our wedding ceremony script has already been presented to us, we agree to pay 75% of the total amount of this contract. (Both conditions must be met by A New Way of Hope Weddings to be entitled to this payment). We agree that it is only fair for A New Way of Hope Weddings to be paid for the work that has been performed. For cancellations within 14 days of the wedding date, there is no refund, and 100% of this contract will due to A New Way of Hope Weddings.

Wedding Date Change: If the wedding date is postponed or changed, the following rules will apply: If A New Way of Hope Weddings or one of the three ministers on staff have the new date available, we will simply change your date and re-reserve it under the new date However, if A New Way of Hope Weddings is already obligated for the new date you have chosen, and is unable to officiate your wedding on the new date, then the initial security retainer of Half (1/2) is forfeited and A New Way of Hope Weddings is relieved of all responsibilities set forth in this contract.

Additional Notes:

A New Way of Hope Weddings Reserves the right to change ministers in the event the minister scheduled to perform falls ill or has an emergency. We reserve the right to substitute with the first minister available had it be a male or female.
